Description Title: XL Qala-i-nau Kilim Runner Size: 4.04×1.57m / 13’3″x5’2″ Origin: Qala-i-nau, north of Herat, Afghanistan. Technique: Handwoven; flat-weave. Material: Wool. Colours and Design: This vintage XL Qala-i-nau kilim runner rug has an exciting colour combination. It has colours of terracotta-red, navy blue, black, brown, orange, and beige. The design is traditional for a Kilim from this area. The pattern shows bands of pattern interspersed with bands of plain flat weave. Condition/Age: This Kilim is in good condition.
